Wow 21thousand steps today! We first headed off to Odori Park to see the snow sculptures in the daylight WOW they are amazing. Only in Japan does a lion sell toothpaste! Lunch was coffee and the most beautiful cake the back to the Hotel for a quick dip in the onsen. The next stop was the Otaru Lantern festival very pretty but packed with lots of chinese tourists! Otaru is a really pretty town but very touristy and very snowy. Finally back to the snow festival and back to the hotel to rest my weary feet in the onsen again.Off to sleep now good night from Japan xxx
