Day 4

Well that's how my day began in the lovely onsen in Abashiri! Next we broke ice sailing through the drift ice in the sea of Okhotsk the eagles were amazing.

After a look round the northern peoples museum it was then onto the train for a 5 hours of snow! Sapporo is big and bustling and the ice and snow sculptures enormous! Great isakaya for dinner and a long walk to look at the sculptures we got a taxi back. The water in this hotels onsen is yellow and full of people at midnight! No outdoor snow to stand in here.
