Day 8 an early morning wander round the fish market

Day 8 an early morning wander round the fish market - I bought some dried cod with sesame seeds (tastes better than it sounds honest!!) It was labeled as 4 for 1000 yen or 1 for 200! interesting Japanese maths. We flew to Osaka and then travelled to Kyoto. I skipped the afternoon tour of the NIjo Castle it's wonderful but i've been at least 4 times before. I went shopping instead - I found a Tokyo Hands round the corner from our hotel so I had my stationary in the stationery department which was delightful!! We went to the Gion district for dinner at Mimiu delicious. The evening ended with a walk around the area spotting a Geiko and 2 Maiko on our way. More of Kyoto tomorrow and I'll up load some pictures too. Good night from Kyoto x
