Day 9 I'm on catchback here!

Day 9 I'm on catchback here! We went to Arashiyama and visited the Tenryu-ji and the amazing bamboo grove. Our guide for the day was Miwa who I had many things in common with she had lived in Toyota City for 10 years and was a guide for the Toyota - Derby exchange trips she guided John Port School people last year and is coming to Derby next year! A lovely surprise was a trip on the river included in our tour! I decided not to visit the golden temple again and went to the san jeu san gendo temple and the got a bus to kiyomizu dera. I didn't get there I stopped in a restaurant half way up the hill and ate the most wonderful Unagi (eel) and soba! The night ended with a trip to a revolving sushi restaurant and then an cream parlour.
